Getting started

Vigilant is in early development. Not all features are implemented and there are probably a few bugs. Feedback is greatly appreciated!

At the current state of the project it is required to self host the application. There is currently no hosted version of Vigilant where you can register and start monitoring your website.

To get started using Vigilant you'll need a server with Docker installed. Not sure what this means? Find someone who does or wait for a hosted version of Vigilant. You can leave your e-mail on the homepage in order to stay updated!

You can follow the Docker installation guide here. When you've setup the application you can access it through port 8000 (or any other port you've configured) and you will be welcomed by a registration screen. After registering you're able to add your website and configure the monitors.
